The Equipment used in housekeeping are:

BRUSHES:

These should be gently tapper on a hard surface to loosen dust after the cleaning process. To extent the life of a brush, lacquer should be applied to the stock and handle with an oil can and allowed to harden when possible, brushes should be dried in the sun or open air.

BROOMS:

These should be shaken free of dust. They should never be stored standing on their bristle or the bristles will bend out of shape, resulting in inefficient cleaning.

DRY MOPS:

Mops should be shaken well after use at outdoors. The mop heads should be easily detachable so that they can be frequently washed in hot water with detergent. 

WET MOPS:

Mops should be taken outdoors after use and shaken well to remove excess moisture. Then the mops should be washed in the same way as dry mops. Detachable heads are easier to clean and maintain. The sponge head should be stored by hanging.

VACUUM CLEANERS:

Housekeeping staff need to be trained in the care and maintenance of the machines. Vacuum cleaners will give Maximum cleaning of the surfaces.

DUST PAN:

This is used to collect the dust in it and shift to dust bins.

RUBBER GLOVES:

These are used to wear at the time of handling the chemical cleaning agents to prevent from any burning sensation, allergy and to protect from any infection during cleaning.

SQUEEZER & SQEEZEE MOPS:

To make the surface dry & clean the water from surface these equipment are used.
