Five classic wine regions of Bordeaux:–
- The Medoc: – best red wines of France are produced; wines are full, heavy and tannic at young, after maturity – delicious, complex, peppery fruit, raspberry and strawberry flavor, spicy etc.
- Graves:- both red and white wines are produced, dull red & dry white wine, taste of soil, beautiful color, full body & faint perfume of pine.
- St. Emilion: – the wines are chalky and clay flavor, soft, velvety, heavy, full bodied & rich wines.
- Pomerol:- these wines has no official classification, known after 2nd world war.
- Sauternes: – wines are very sweet white wines from sauvignon blanc grapes, the wines are delicate and very sweet.
